Minyon Falls Rainforest Walk

This tour easily fits into your vacation schedule: choose between a short 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) hike and a longer 5-mile (8-kilometer) hike to Minyon Falls. The first hike takes you through the rainforest valley to Minyon Falls, while the longer hike takes you through the rainforest to see Minyon Falls and another waterfall. Your park ranger guide helps you spot wildlife along the way. If you walk slowly and quietly, you are very likely to see wildlife. Wildlife you may see include: pademelon, eastern yellow robin, pale yellow robin, brown cuckoo dove, white headed pigeon, emerald dove, log runner, scrub wren, thornbill, peregrine falcon, yellow tailed black cockatoo, Alberts lyrebird, stoney creek frog, red eyed green tree frog, nightcap crayfish, eel, land mullet, lace monitor, skinks, and koala & kookaburra (at start).
